UPS is seeking a motivated and curious UX Design Co-op to join our Digital Experience team. As a UX Co-op, you will work alongside experienced designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to craft intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences that power the world’s most trusted logistics network. This is a unique opportunity to apply design thinking principles to real-world enterprise challenges and contribute to user-centered solutions at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Support UX designers in creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Research to ensure cohesive and consistent designs.
  • Participate in user research sessions, usability testing, and design workshops to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Assist in organizing and synthesizing research findings into actionable insights.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and UI libraries.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Help document design decisions and maintain project files for cross-team collaboration.
  • Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and perspectives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and responsive design practices.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly, both visually and verbally.
  • Must be able to speak to previous UX/UI projects or personal work
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and/or usability testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a bonus but not required.
