Partnering for Education and Careers
Metropolitan College (or Metro College) is not a brick and mortar college. It's a partnership between the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the city of Louisville, UPS, the University of Louisville, and Jefferson Community and Technical College.
Metro College was part of the incentive package tied to the expansion of our major overnight hub, Worldport. This program offers access to education opportunities for eligible employees in the Next Day Air (Night shift) operation at Worldport. Participating students attending at least part-time with a C-grade or better get paid tuition plus fee payment assistance, academic bonuses, and more.

What's Your Number?
To fulfill the program mission of helping students integrate academic, work, and personal lives, Metro College has a team of Student Development Counselors who assist students with services designed to maximize their success. Our #WhatsYourNumber campaign shows how much money a student has saved utilizing these benefits.
Career Pathways
In addition to other Metropolitan College benefits, we've created "Career Pathways." Career Pathways are partnerships we've developed with industry leaders to provide well-defined paths directly from higher education to your chosen career field.
