Job Description:

Job Summary: The Treasury Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading back-office functions that support the Global Treasury cash management and capital markets teams. This role involves the continuous development and implementation of Treasury self-audit controls and compliance work to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage back-office operations supporting Global Treasury capital markets activities.
    • Oversee the processing and settlement of Treasury transactions, including foreign exchange or interest rate derivatives, and debt instruments.
    • Manage the documentation and record-keeping of Treasury transactions and compliance activities.
    • Consolidate hedge notionals and approve notional calculations/amounts.
    • Monitor counterparty exposure and investigate policy exceptions.
    • Conduct market-to-market reviews and manage exchange of collateral with counterparties, as applicable.
  • Manage and perform analysis as needed on Treasury budget, including bank fees
  • Provide support to the retirement oversight committee, as needed. Support could involve tracking of pension-related fees, facilitating meetings with plan trustees, other ad hoc support.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Treasury self-audit controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including maintaining SOC-1 review policies and adequate complementary user entity controls.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks related to Treasury operations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the Treasury function remains compliant.
  • Provide training and guidance to Treasury staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing audit controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex compliance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external auditors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis/reporting tools, including excel.
