Job Summary

The Enterprise Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities and fostering strategic relationships between UPS and designated Enterprise Accounts. This individual is tasked with executing well-defined business plans that align with the overall objectives of UPS, continually striving to meet and exceed sales and revenue goals. In this multifaceted position, the Enterprise Account Manager will lead service and sales initiatives across UPS's extensive portfolio, which includes Freight Forwarding and Distribution services. He/She drives global business growth through solution development, customer-facing communications, contract development, value creation, and negotiation.


Responsibilities

Contract Management and Account Performance Analysis

  • Ensure adherence to contract compliance by overseeing the entire renewal process.

  • Negotiate and execute all elements of contracts between UPS and customers, guaranteeing mutual agreement on terms and conditions.

  • Regularly maintain and analyze comprehensive customer information and account performance data related to Freight Forwarding and Distribution services.

  • Evaluate sales performance against established objectives, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

Business Intelligence Utilization and Market Analysis

  • Utilize advanced business intelligence and analytical reporting tools to conduct thorough assessments of account performance.

  • Generate insights that inform strategy adjustments and enhance service delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities to gather actionable intelligence.

  • Utilize information to inform strategic engagement with both prospective and existing customers, enabling UPS to maintain a competitive edge.

Customer Relationship Management and Solution Development

  • Cultivate and manage strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders at Enterprise Accounts.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within UPS to design and implement customized solutions that meet the specific needs of Enterprise Accounts.

  • Advocate for customers’ needs within UPS, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and service delivery.


Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or related field in healthcare.

  • Possess at least 7-10 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry

  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and communication (written/verbal) skills

  • Display strong drive to meet and exceed sales target, with past track record

  • Able to work independently and with others in a team

  • Willing to travel for business needs when required
