Support From Within

We want to make sure our Veterans thrive at UPS. Once you start here, you’ll have access to the Veteran Business Resource Group, which offers a place for vets as well as people with a passion for supporting military members.

The Veteran Business Resource Group is open to all UPS employees, and it brings together people who have a passion for supporting military members past and present. It provides members with an instant connection and opportunities to learn from each other, support each other and propel each other forward in their careers.

VBRG Chapter Spotlight:
Chesapeake

Our Chesapeake VBRG visited Alpha & Omega Working Dogs Training Facility to learn about their partnership with Paws Healing Heroes. Together they rescue dogs from shelters and train them to become Service Dogs over the course of 6 to 18 months. Once trained, the dogs are paired with veterans in need at no cost.

VBRG Chapter Spotlight:
Southern California

To honor those who have given their lives in service, our SoCal VBRG put out Memorial Day flags at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. We spent hours ensuring each grave is respectfully adorned with Stars and Stripes. This unified effort honors the fallen while bringing our community together in shared remembrance and respect.

"As a veteran community, we’re only as strong as our non-veteran advocates. One of the great things about UPS—we’re surrounded by non-veteran advocates."

-Lloyd K., Veterans Talent Acquisition Manager

Vet Spotlight:
Brooke K.

As a US Navy veteran who supported operations during the post-occupation of Iraq, Brooke came to UPS to join our Global Logistics and Distribution (GLD) team. In 2022, she earned the Red Service Award and a promotion. Brooke attributes her success here to the skills she gained in the military. She continues to give back by participating in our VBRG.

"Be curious, meet UPSers, and avoid monotony. Find your passion so you are not only working for a great company, but love working for a great company."

-Brooke K., UPS Supply Chain Solutions
