Seasonal Support Driver FAQs, and Questions
You just need to be 21+, able to lift up to 70 lbs and have a clean, valid driver’s license.
It varies depending on the route but don't worry, you won't get bored!
You'll be provided a uniform or UPS vest. You'll need to provide your own comfortable, closed-toe shoes or boots with a sturdy upper and non-slip soles.
Your vehicle must be registered and reliable, have a closed-top or covered bed, and have no other company logos or bumper stickers on it.
Seasonal Support Drivers receive competitive pay, which is paid weekly. SSDs also receive a mileage reimbursement and a phone stipend is available in some locations.
In a permanent role at UPS, you work year-round in either a part or full-time hourly position with the option sometimes to pick up additional shifts during our busy holiday season.
In a seasonal role, you may work part or full-time hours, but there will be a set end date to your position. You’ll likely be hired only to work during our busy holiday season which is typically from October to December. Hours can vary and some roles may require early morning or midnight shifts.
