Job Description:

Position Overview:
This role focuses on driving UPS’s growth in the automotive and high-tech industries by delivering customized logistics and supply chain solutions. The specialist will work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and technology companies to optimize their operations, enhance efficiency, and streamline global supply chains. The position requires a deep understanding of industry-specific needs, including time-critical shipping, advanced technology integration, and regulatory compliance.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth in the automotive and high-tech sectors, focusing on key accounts and high-value opportunities.
  • Provide tailored supply chain solutions, including freight forwarding, inventory management, and technology-enabled logistics, to meet the unique demands of the automotive and high-tech industries.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), Tier 1 suppliers, and technology companies to drive mutual growth.
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and address industry-specific challenges, such as just-in-time (JIT) delivery and high-value cargo security.
  • Introduce and implement UPS technology solutions, such as visibility tools, automation, and predictive analytics, to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to proactively address client needs and maintain a competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular sales calls and visits to automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and technology companies.
  • Identifies opportunities, qualifies leads, and develops strategies to secure new business.
  • Prepares customized presentations and action plans based on in-depth analysis of client requirements.
  • Manages account setups, ensuring smooth onboarding and implementation of UPS services.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to resolve client concerns, enhance service delivery, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Represents UPS at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and build networks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive or high-tech industries, including supply chain requirements, emerging trends, and key players.
  • Experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver innovative solutions to industry challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess supply chain operations and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Korean proficiency is a plus) to effectively engage with local and global stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with UPS technology solutions and tools, including visibility platforms and automation systems.
