Job Description:

Job Summary
This Co-Op role will support the coordination of a large-scale Summer Intern Program and Employee Engagement activities. This includes but is not limited to communications, onboarding, event planning & execution, and related events. This position will collaborate with a variety of management levels on projects that contribute to the success of the team. This position uses discipline specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist with various projects, presentations, and business improvement opportunities. This position performs other HR related responsibilities as assigned.

This position is a 6 month contract with potential to extend as needed.

Target Start/End Dates: March-August 2025


Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination & Planning
  • Management of people data
  • Presenting to all management levels
  • Composes competent memos to employees to effectively communicate policy and procedural changes.
  • Assists in recruitment activities and special projects as needed.
  • Enters data into Human Resources databases


Qualifications:

  • Current undergrad student or recent graduate from Human Resources Management program or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Qualtrics
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
  • Exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills
  • Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organization skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers
  • Must be located in the Parsippany, New Jersey area or willing to self-relocate
  • Must be able to report to the Parsippany, NJ office - Hybrid/In-Office
  • Must be able to work part time while in school, full-time 40hrs during Summer (June-August)
