Job Description:

This position protects UPS assets including buildings, equipment, and grounds. He/She oversees housekeeping operations, facility concerns, and directing facility/housekeeping vendors. This position oversees the work of UPS porters and outside housekeeping vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers environmental, regulatory, safety, and health compliance training. Including SWMS, and new hire training packets.

  • Conduct employee service audits on porters, such as housekeeping audits, appearance audits, service checks, and OJS.

  • Hold employees accountable to following assigned work and methods.

  • Directs work for UPS Porters and outside service housekeeping vendors.

  • Holds housekeeping vendors accountable to meeting expectations.

  • Manage the housekeeping functional cost.

  • Deliver PCMs to workgroup.

  • Validate timecards of porters. Such as checking labor hours, breaks, call-ins, late reports.

  • Coordinate and post Overtime and Shift Bids for Housekeeping


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering/technical - Preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $27.50/hr to $44.70/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
