We are looking for someone who can help us improve our services and customer satisfaction, this position performs administrative and operational responsibilities, including preparing reports and facilitating our daily aircraft operations on the OPO airport ramp, as Load Planner, Load Supervisor and/or Cargo Compartment Designee (CCD).

He/she will also plan, supervise and be involved in the loading and unloading of the supported aircraft using our latest technology in collaboration with our local partners.

He/she will be part of a small, dedicated team that also performs general office tasks such as managing reports, data entry, audits, and other assigned tasks.

What do you do in a day?

- Administrative file management

- Compiling and processing information gathered from various sources and/or UPS departments.

- Administrative management of daily and monthly files (Excel, Pdf)

- Supervising the unloading/loading of the cargo plane in accordance with company procedures, managing a team of subcontractors

- Responsible for on-site verification and correct loading of cargo in accordance with the Load Planner's instructions and the aircraft's safety procedures.

- Responsible for loading the cargo plane with computer support (ALP) in accordance with the aircraft structure and safety procedures.

- Responsible for checking, monitoring and loading hazardous material in accordance with company rules.

- Daily contact with the handling company and other business partners at national and international level.

- Carrying out internal audits according to pre-established parameters.

What do we expect from you?

- Portuguese Speaker

- High School complete - preferred

- Proactive attitude and organizational skills.

- Strong communication, stress management and problem-solving skills.

- Intermediate level (B1) of English (written and spoken)

- Computer skills at user level.  

- Previous experience in a similar role will be valued.

- Willingness to work the following hours:

- Monday 03:00-08:00

- Tuesday - Friday: 04:00-09:00

- Resident in Portugal with valid Work Permit
