We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Co-op to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on applications across two diverse platforms: OpenShift (using Java/Spring Boot) and Microsoft Windows OS (using .NET C#/ASP.NET).

The ideal candidate will have exposure to both Java and .NET through academic coursework or previous experience, and will be eager to expand their knowledge in both environments. As a co-op, you will work alongside experienced developers and contribute to the development and support of critical applications, while learning best practices in both Java and .NET programming.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of applications running on OpenShift (Java/Spring Boot) and MS Windows OS (.NET C#/ASP.NET).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Participate in coding, testing, and documentation tasks.
• Contribute to software design and development discussions.
• Work on enhancements and features for existing applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to both Java and .NET technologies, ideally from academic coursework or previous work experience.
• Experience or coursework in Java/Spring Boot and .NET C#/ASP.NET.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Major & Year in School:

• Ideally a Computer Science (CS) major or a Computer Science & Information (CSI) major with relevant Java and .NET coding classes.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months
