Job Description:

We’re one of the world’s largest providers of transportation and logistics services. Our customers range from small and mid-sized companies up to global enterprises.  Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.

Job Summary:

The (HLD, HCLS, HC QA)eQMS& DDC Specialist supports the operation and maintenance for theeQMSapplication, as well as core responsibilities for the global document control program. This position performs administrative application tasks and support tasks that include user setup, writing / executing test scripts, documenting user application errors or request. They assist in the documentation and design of the business and functional requirements. They also assist in determination of whether solutions currently exist or new solutions are feasible. In addition, this position also supports the document control and retention program. They are responsible for assessing, building and implementing a document control system that ensures compliance of regulated documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), client procedure manuals, work instructions, document change requests, etc. This position is responsible for final formatting, approving periodic document reviews and storage / maintenance of healthcare procedures.

Core Competencies/Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and configuration of applications (i.e. operating system, back-up recovery, communications protocols, and identity management services) as required.

• Execute moderately complex test scripts to ensure applications meet end users’ needs and able to report application defects to IT, QA and QA System Validation prior to deployment.

• Review and approve user request for application access.

• Maintain application documentation including but not limited to user guides, manuals, test scripts and validation documents.

• Monitor, report and escalate user application issues. Maintain data for application issues for problem frequency and impacts.

• Ensure necessary SOP and Compliance training is completed in a timely manner to ensure appropriate procedures are followed in accordance with UPS quality standards.

• Global document management (final formatting, approving periodic reviews)

• Maintenance and enforcement of global document templates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must currently reside in the same geographic location as the job - Required

• Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) – Science or related discipline – Preferred

• Healthcare industry experience - Preferred

• Experience utilizing and managing electronic Quality Management Systems - Preferred

Schedule/typical working hours:
Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (typically no OT)
