Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to be based in Head Quarter, to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the field sales team and building long-term client relationships through sales and service excellence.

As an Area Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for team leadership, sales growth, and overall team performance.
  • Engage, lead the sales team, provide leadership in maximizing sales and market share growth.
  • Act as a key bridge between the company and potential new clients, identifying and pursuing new strategic business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential new business opportunities by identifying and prioritizing key target accounts, conducting thorough opportunity assessments (including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer needs), and provide feedback for effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including cross-functional collaboration, when necessary, to successfully pursue and close deals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop comprehensive career growth plans for sales team members.
  • Identify and analyze accounts at risks, determine root causes for declining performance, provide insightful recommendations, and develop actionable plans to mitigate risks or win back lost business includes bridging cross-functional collaboration support needs.

Your Skills & Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s or master’s Degree in any disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience. (A background in any logistics/transportation field is preferred but not limited to. All industries are welcome.)
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of Sales management experience with a strong record of integrity
  • Excellent communicator, team player, creative problem solver and have an analytical approach to developing sales strategy.
  • Dynamic, aggressive, and dedicated personality.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Good spoken and written English and local language.
  • A “Growth” mindset is a must.
  • Experience with cold calling is preferrable.
