This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italia division which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market.

The Operations team is responsible for all the core areas of UPS Healthcare's business, managing warehouse processes, Inventory and Customer Service & Data Management activities. If you have the right skills and the willingness to get involved in this role, UPS offers important career and continuous training opportunities to improve your skills to a higher level within the organization.

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that the operations performed at the facility (reception, inspection receipt, storage, VAS, picking and shipping) are made in accordance with the approved procedures/ work instructions and in compliance with the EU GMP/ EU GDP guidelines.

  • Managing and organizing all activities in an efficient and productive way, in accordance with ISO 13485 and UPS HLD standards, and in compliance with EU GMP/ EU GDP guidelines.

  • Conducting performance reviews of assigned department

  • Controlling and optimizing operational aspects of warehouse.

  • Reporting of day-to-day activities.

  • Deal with internal and external (customer) issue(s) effectively.

  • Acting as back-up for Supervisor in case of absence.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of GMP and/or GDP guidelines is an advantage.

  • Min. 2 years’ experience in warehousing.

  • Knowledge of various computer systems.

  • Able to work within time-limits (deadlines).

  • Experience in supervision.
