Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical and strategic minded individual for this position. He/She conducts market analysis across the region while managing rate setting across multiple UPS services, with the focus on improving revenue. The position also requires collaboration across Marketing teams within multiple clusters to develop/implement revenue generating strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes market trends, competitor strategies to identify revenue enablement opportunities.
  • Develops and assists in the implementation of rate setting strategy for UPS services across region clusters to improve revenue.
  • Works with appropriate internal systems to ensure timely and accurate revenue enablement implementation.
  • Acts as a focal point across teams from multiple clusters for the preparation of weekly/monthly market performance reports.
  • Performs market analysis through existing tools to understand drivers/patterns for revenue/volume growth, and provide recommendations, that aligns with company objectives.
  • Conducts regular performance analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Ensures compliance with UPS revenue enablement policies and profitability goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, or related field – preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency and prior experience in data analysis and interpretation – preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a strong business acumen
  • Understands basic financial terminology and concepts.
