Job Description:

UPS is seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader with a global mindset and strong problem-solving skills for the role of Global Vice President (VP) of Sales. This position plays a pivotal role in driving UPS’ One UPS growth objectives. As Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales, you will lead a high-performing team focused on business development across UPS' global portfolio. You will directly impact expanding the company’s footprint and increasing market share in underpenetrated and emerging markets, with responsibility for overseeing a book of business exceeding $1.5B billion annually.

You will be accountable for all business development activities aimed at driving revenue and increasing market share across UPS' portfolio, including Small Package, Domestic & International services, and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS). Your focus will span all industry verticals and intercontinental trade lanes, fostering cross-functional and cross-business-unit engagement to deliver comprehensive supply chain solutions. By leveraging the full value of ONE UPS, you will identify and implement growth strategies to accelerate market share through conversion and penetration sales strategies. Your responsibility includes maintaining a client base while driving revenue and volume in line with the sales plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Share Growth: Accelerate market share gain in both underpenetrated and unborn accounts through innovative strategies and tactical execution.
  • US Domestic and Export Growth: Develop and implement strategies to consistently drive premium growth across the US and globally.
  • Portfolio Expansion: Leverage the product and service portfolio expansion to meet evolving market needs, including the introduction of new products and services.
  • Client Acquisition and Maintenance: Drive revenue and market share by acquiring, growing, and sustaining a robust client base.
  • Revenue and Volume Responsibility: Meeting or exceeding revenue and volume targets as outlined in the business plan.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Accounts Managers. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years as a Managing Director overseeing territory owners (e.g., AEs, SAEs, MAMs, or EAMs)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus for international market engagement
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale revenue and achieving aggressive growth targets
  • Demonstrated global business development and retention experience; prior global sales experience preferred
  • Proven experience managing sales teams, with expertise in negotiation and operating margin analytics
  • Skilled in creating and executing strategies for profitable growth and supporting corporate sales goals
  • Proficiency in DRIVE and CRM platforms
  • Strong leadership competencies, including change management, business insight, cross-functional collaboration, and effective planning/execution
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across all functions and geographies in a complex organization
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
