Job Description:

Program Overview:

UPS Capital is offering a Summer Internship Program designed to provide interns with in-depth, hands-on experience in one of our key departments, aligned with their skills, interests, and career goals. Interns will have the opportunity to shadow other departments, gaining valuable insights into their chosen field while developing a broader understanding of how the company operates. This program is ideal for students seeking to build professional skills and explore various career paths within a corporate setting.

Available Departments:

  • Marketing: Work on digital campaigns, market research, branding, and social media.
  • Information Technology (IT): Support IT infrastructure, data security, and technology projects.
  • Operations: Learn about process improvement, supply chain management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Strategy: Assist with competitive analysis, business strategy, and growth initiatives.
  • Sales: Support sales strategy, client outreach, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to projects and day-to-day activities within your assigned department to support business goals.
  • Conduct research and provide analysis to help drive team objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues on key initiatives.
  • Shadow other departments to gain a broader perspective of the company's operations and strategic goals.
  • Attend company-wide events, presentations, and cross-functional meetings to learn more about the organization’s overall structure and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or a recent graduated, 24 months from the start date with a Bachelor’s degree in one of these areas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with industry-specific tools is a plus.
  • Interest in exploring multiple aspects of corporate business.
