Job Description:

Job Summary
PIN Interns working with UPS would gain valuable, hands-on experience in a leading global logistics company, enhancing their understanding of marketing techniques and strategy development. They will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, through structured mentorship and networking opportunities. The interns will also develop critical skills in data analysis, research development, and project management, all while contributing to real-world projects that drive organizational growth.

  • Project Management Skills: Interns will gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, and leading on initiatives. They will be the key point person in addition to their manager to help lead and guide their project proposal and providing an execution strategy that will live on beyond their internship.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Interns will engage in cross-functional teamwork and communicate with various stakeholders, enhancing their verbal and written communication skills while learning to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Presentation Skills: Over the course of the summer, they will be working on their final project submission which will consist of two larger presentations at Midpoint and the Final close of the project. During those presentations they will present to a panel of judges and be offered a ‘grade’ to only offer them constructive feedback on how they presented the information and how they presented.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Pursuing or completed degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field within the last 2 years
  • Experience: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies; previous internship or project experience in marketing is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC-based analytical/data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, R, or SQL.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attributes: Demonstrated leadership skills, adaptability in fast-paced environments, a passion for marketing and consumer behavior, and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
