Job Description:

This position provides input, and support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in implementing requirements for moderately complex initiatives. He/she will test for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates within the team and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for application development, integration, and maintenance as well as supporting emerging technologies

The ideal candidate must have solid experience with Java, EJB, DB2, SQL, WebSphere, Angular 15 or higher, Restful API’s, Spring Boot Microservices, IBM MQ, AMQ, Dev/Ops, JFrog Artifactory, and familiarity with Cloud technologies such as OpenShift, GCP, and IBM’s Operational Decision Manager is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with distributed and web application development
  • Experience with Java and DB2 SQL
  • Experience with Business Rules Engine is a plus
  • Needs to be committed highly motivated and Enthusiastic
  • Designs and development of applications
  • Performs maintenance and support

Agile:

  • Understands the software development lifecycle and how various agile engineering practices can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, code, testing)
  • Understands when to apply agile methodologies vs. traditional methodologies to achieve the best development outcome
  • Applies agile engineering practices (e.g., Programming techniques such as pair programming and test-driven development) in own software development

Education Qualifications:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Systems

Other Criteria:

  • Job Grade: 20F
  • This position is hybrid and will require candidates who can work 3 days a week in our Parsippany (NJ), office.
